Blessings And Curses In Our Lives Today

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a God who blesses His people.
In fact, He promises to bless us beyond all that we can ask or imagine.
He promises to make each of His children great.
He promises to make each of our names great.
He promises to bless us so that each of us can be a blessing to the nations.
And the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob does not lie.

GENESIS 12:1-31
The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.
2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
3 "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Most believers have received a small measure of God's blessings.
However, very few believers have ever attained the fullness of God's blessings on this earth.
Because of that, we have not been able to bless the nations of the earth.

Worse yet, many believers live under curses of sickness, oppression, failures, defeat, poverty and barrenness.
They suffer these curses in their relationships, their families, their work, their business and their ministries.
They have tried to follow God's word so as to walk under His blessings, and they have failed.
And many just give up, and learn to accept all the curses that the devil throws at them.

And most of us have no clue as to how to turn the situation around.
Many believers suffer the same curses as their non-believer friends and as a result, we cannot bear witness to the power of God and be a blessing to others.
This brings shame, disgrace and reproach to the name of God that we bear.
This is a great tragedy.
Yet it can be stopped, in your life, today.
Our Abba Father is just waiting to help us come out from living under our curses.
This tragedy must stop.

The problem does not lie with God but with us.
If we will humble ourselves, seek God, and repent from our wicked ways, God will once again pour out His blessings into our lives, our families, our churches and our land.
God promises to bless us and He will do it.

The Almighty God will move heaven and earth to fulfill His word in our lives.
He is waiting to perform His word over us.
He is waiting to demonstrate the full extent of His love and power in the lives of His people.
He wants to pour out His glory into our lives.
He wants to let the world know that He is living in our midst.

If we will meet His conditions, He will bless us beyond what we can ask or think.
We will be a people blessed by the Almighty God.
We will be a people used by Him to build His kingdom on this earth.
We will be a people God will use to bless others and to draw all men to Himself.

TESTIMONY:

Boy Of 15 Delivered From Many Demons

More than 10 years ago, I was called to help a 13 year old boy who had suddenly collapsed in his school-field and started to scream and groan incoherently, and was unable to walk after that.
I saw him about 4 days after his problem began.
He had already been to a specialist hospital for a complete brain scan and then to another one for blood tests, without the doctors finding anything wrong.

He had the following open doors (sins that opened a door for demons to attack him):

• He was talking with his late grandfather's spirit, which often appeared to him. (This was a familiar spirit, and talking to such is a form of witchcraft).
• His parents, though Christians, had many figurines of traditional Chinese idols in the house (for decoration, they said).
• There were many charms brought back from overseas, local temples and shrines, and scattered all over the house for protection (Such are witchcraft practices).
• He had a large collection of demonic toys (superheroes, dungeons and dragons, etc), some of which were still unopened.
• He was communicating with a spirit who promised to give him power.
• He had been to a church since he was born, but had not been baptized (though he professed to be a believer in Jesus, according to the parents).

After teaching his parents for about an hour, and after a time of worship and repentance, and after clearing the house of idols and charms, I started deliverance on the boy.
He vomitted and screamed, and was much better.
This was on a Saturday evening.
We stopped the whole session after 3 hours, and went down to Genting, Island Glades, for a meal.

On Sunday, in the evening, after some worship and teaching, we cleared out all his demonic toys (filled almost three-fourths of my Volvo 144 car booth), asked him to repent and renounce his sins, and we were able to deliver him from more demons.
He was able to cooperate with me this time but was still unable to walk.
We stopped after about 2 hours and went for the evening meal.

On Monday evening, he renounced all forms of witchcraft (communication with his "grandfather's spirit" so-called, and also seeking power from a superpower spirit).
A quick deliverance followed and he was able to walk again, now after a total of 7 days.
This time we really enjoyed our evening meal down the road.

His parents were amazingly happy and we had a grand celebration the following Sunday.
The boy was baptized soon after that. He is still free today, a successful businessman.
